| What time is the meeting? | For Crested Kingfisher and Ruddy Kingfisher photography, the meeting time is usually about one hour before sunrise. For Mountain Hawk-Eagle photography, it is generally between 5:30 AM and 7:00 AM. Detailed information will be provided after booking. |
| What time does the tour end? | In general, Crested Kingfisher sessions end around 9:00–10:00 AM, Mountain Hawk-Eagle sessions around 12:00 PM, and Ruddy Kingfisher sessions around 10:00 AM. Times may vary depending on conditions and bird activity. |
| Can I join without a camera? | Yes, absolutely. You are welcome to join even if you only bring binoculars or observation equipment. |
| Do I need expensive camera equipment? | No. High-end equipment certainly has advantages, but even bridge cameras or entry-level systems can capture excellent images. |
| Is parking available? | Yes. Including our property, parking for up to six vehicles is available nearby. Additional parking spaces are located across the road and in nearby gravel parking areas. |
| What are your business hours? | Our regular business hours are from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM. |
| Do you offer transportation? | If you are arriving by private car, please come directly to our location. Transportation is available only for guests using public transportation, and only from designated hotels. |
| Which hotels offer pickup service? | Pickup service is available from hotels near Aizuwakamatsu Station and Kitakata Station. Hotels near Aizuwakamatsu Station are generally more convenient for train and bus travelers. |

| Should I bring a tripod? | Yes, a tripod is recommended. Tripod rentals are available for an additional fee, but quantities are limited, so please inquire in advance. |
| Should I bring a chair? | For Crested Kingfisher and Ruddy Kingfisher photography, a chair is essential because photography is conducted from inside a blind. We recommend a low-profile chair. Rental chairs suitable for blinds are also available (additional fee). |
| Do I need to bring my own blind? | No. We provide the photography blinds used during the sessions. |
| What clothing is recommended for Crested Kingfisher photography? | Please wear muted, non-bright colors and waterproof clothing suitable for getting dirty. From November through mid-May, winter clothing is strongly recommended. In summer, please prepare for heat and humidity. A headlamp is also recommended. |
| What clothing is recommended for Mountain Hawk-Eagle photography? | Please prepare for rain, snow, and cold weather, and wear muted, non-bright colors. Binoculars are also recommended. |
| What clothing is recommended for Ruddy Kingfisher photography? | Please wear waterproof clothing and shoes suitable for muddy conditions, along with muted, non-bright colors. Binoculars and a headlamp are also recommended. |
| What about insects? | Mosquito protection is recommended. We have not encountered leeches in the area so far. |
| How far is the walk from the car to the blind? | For Crested Kingfisher photography, it is usually about 100 meters, depending on conditions. Mountain Hawk-Eagle photography is often conducted close to the vehicle, although some walking may be required. Ruddy Kingfisher photography often involves longer walks. |
| What happens in bad weather? | Tours may be canceled in cases of severe weather or unsafe conditions. No cancellation fee will be charged for weather-related cancellations before the tour begins, but refunds are not available if the session is stopped after it has started. |

Cancellation fees apply starting two days before the scheduled tour date. 2 days before: 50% 1 day before: 75% Same day: 100% Because we operate in small groups, we may decline other bookings once your reservation is confirmed. |
| What is the best season? | This is the most difficult question to answer. Bird activity changes constantly, so we recommend checking our latest website updates for current conditions. |
| Can all species be photographed in one day? | Occasionally it may be possible, but because the photography locations are far apart, we generally recommend separate days for each target species. |
| What payment methods are accepted? | Currently, we accept cash payments and bank transfers only. |
