| What time is the meeting time? | For Crested Kingfisher and Ruddy Kingfisher tours, the meeting time is usually about 1 hour before sunrise. For Mountain Hawk-Eagle tours, it is usually around 5:30–7:00 AM. Detailed information will be provided after your reservation. |
| What time does the tour end? | Crested Kingfisher tours usually end around 9:00–10:00 AM. Mountain Hawk-Eagle tours usually end around 12:00 PM. Ruddy Kingfisher tours usually end around 10:00 AM. Please note that schedules may change depending on conditions. |
| Can I join without a camera? | Absolutely. You are welcome to join even if you only bring binoculars or observation equipment. |
| Do I need expensive camera equipment? | Not at all. Professional equipment is wonderful, but even a bridge camera or entry-level setup can capture great photos. Please feel free to ask for equipment advice as well. |
| Is parking available? | Yes, we have space for about 6 cars nearby. ・Parking at our property ・3 spaces at the north side of the Shintokiwa parking area ・2 gravel parking spaces across from the studio |
| Business hours? | Our regular business hours are from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM. |
| Is transportation available? | We provide pickup service only for guests using public transportation. If you come by car, please visit the studio directly. |

| Do I need a tripod? | A tripod is highly recommended for comfort and stability. Rental tripods are available (paid service), but quantities are limited, so please contact us in advance. |
| Do I need a chair? | For Crested Kingfisher and Ruddy Kingfisher photography, a chair is essential because shooting is done inside blinds. Please prepare a low chair. Chair rentals are also available (paid service). |
| Do I need to bring my own blind? | You will use blinds prepared by us. |
| Recommended clothing for Crested Kingfisher photography? | Please wear clothes in natural colors and shoes that can get dirty. From November to mid-May, winter clothing is strongly recommended. In summer, please prepare for heat and bring a headlamp. |
| Recommended clothing for Mountain Hawk-Eagle photography? | Please prepare for cold weather, snow, and rain. Natural-colored clothing is recommended. Binoculars are also useful. |
| Recommended clothing for Ruddy Kingfisher photography? | Please wear clothes in natural colors and shoes that can get dirty. Binoculars and a headlamp are recommended. |
| Do I need insect protection? | Mosquito protection is recommended. At present, we have not seen any leeches in the area. |
| How far is the walk from the car to the blind? | For Crested Kingfisher photography, it is usually around 100m, depending on conditions. For Mountain Hawk-Eagle photography, shooting is sometimes possible right beside the car. For Ruddy Kingfisher photography, there is often more walking involved. |
| What happens in bad weather? | Tours may be canceled in severe weather or unsafe conditions. There is no cancellation fee if we cancel due to weather. However, refunds are not available if the tour is stopped midway. |
| What is the cancellation policy? | Cancellation fees apply starting 2 days before the tour.

| What is the best season? | This is probably the hardest question! Conditions change greatly depending on the season, so please check our latest website updates. |
| Can I photograph everything in one day? | Sometimes it is possible, but generally the locations are far apart, so separate days are recommended for each target species. |
